When a Tuning Fork is struck against the Rubber Activator, it gives a beautiful soft, long resonating sound.

The benefit of the Rubber Activator is that you only need one hand to strike the Tuning Fork against it, rather than having one hand holding the Tuning Fork, and the other hand holding the Mallet.
